Bought this for my husband who brought sandwiches, salads, anything else you can eat cold. He said it's a good to get to where microwaves are located at work, with a 30 min lunch, and has to wait in line since there's so many people using them. The microwaves are limited due to all the employees at lunch at the same time. Bought this for him and now he plugs it in 30 minutes prior, and now has a variety of warm lunches at work. It's easy to clean by hand or just pop in the dishwasher (except the electrical base). It does store a lot even though I initially thought it wouldn't but I was wrong. If he had to drive to different sites in his truck, same deal, plug it into the car (that charger was included as well) and done! Now his coworkers are purchasing these exact lunch boxes since we highly recommend it!I am a home care nurse and was looking for creative ideas to make bringing food to work easier. I immediately ordered one and this is my third time purchasing one. I bought one for my mom, dad, now I’m ordering myself another one because I work long shifts and at times take multiple meals to work with me. I love that I can also use this on my road trips as well.This lunch box is great on road trips as well as at picnics! Food heats up nicely, as long as you remember to plug in the lunch box ahead of time. The pocket inside the carrier is flimsy for holding the chargers, so they keep falling out when the carrier is open. But, that's a minor inconvenience. It's easy to clean, and the stainless steel container and utensils can be washed in the dishwasher.I love how it warms up in so easily and hassle free, I plug it in 20-25 min before my lunch time and my food is so warm. I avoid huge lines for the microwave at my job. Very sturdy and durable. If you like to eat in your car you also have that plug in option.I love the large compartment for food. I am able to heat a full meal in a short amount of time. Several coworkers are getting their own! I have also gifted this twice. Good purchase.Keep in the carrying case whenever not using it for more durability.My husband was traveling a few days a week to visit me during a lengthy hospital stay. Being very health conscious and not wanting to eat hospital and/or takeout for each meal, and not having access to microwaves, he was often eating cold food. I thought this would be a good option for him, and it was. He could easily warm his meal in no time at all and enjoy the foods that he’s accustomed to eating.
