Bought this for tailgating and it works amazing! We warm it up with hot water before loading and it keeps things super hot. Have used for chili, soup, and even kept sausage balls hot with it for a brunch tailgate. Also used for Thanksgiving to let a smoked brisket rest and travel with it to a friend’s house. This has worked out even better than we imagined. We got the 5 gallon which feels really big but glad we did as it is more versatile. The inside does not lift out but you can get the entire thing we when washing. Everyone is so surprised by how hot it keeps things - steamy hot when we open it 2 or 3 hours later.
