This truly is a multi-functional food processor. We have used it to juice, grind meat into hamburger and slice veggies. There are many attachments for different uses making this a fantastic investment. The motor seems to be powerful. The unit has an on and off button as well as a reverse button.Inside the box you will find a user guide that is very nice. I have noticed however that there are some things the manual could do better to explain. One is there is NO mention about the 3 white plastic components you see on the outside of the box that goes with the mincing components. I would like to see these included in the user guide. One of these items is used to make sausage and stuff them in casing. The other device that is in the user guide but not explained very well is Item number 13 the Chute spanner. All this is used for is to take off the residue outlet. However you can easily use your hand to do this as it is not hard. I like the fact they give you 2 cleaning brushes. One looks like a bottle brush and the other looks like a tooth brush. These come in very handy to get the parts nice and clean. All the parts seem to be very durable and made to last. There is peace of mind too because the warranty on this is 1 year.This processor really does work well. We really feel we made a good purchase with this as it is helping us so much around the kitchen in food prep. You can not beat the price. If you do not own one of these I highly recommend this, as it is perfect for the kitchen in so many ways and with its so many uses.
